June Gaines

June L. Gaines, age 88, of Nashville, TN passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. She was born in Sandwich, IL on September 6, 1930 to the late Harry Henry and Margerie McKeever Henry. June grew up in Grand Ridge, IL where she attended grade school. She would go on to Graduate from Cornell High School in Cornell, IL. Ottawa, IL is where she called home for many years and worked as a payroll supervisor for Dan-Jac Manufacturing. She eventually went on to begin a career in the real-estate industry.
Along with her parents, June is preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas L. Cunico; son, David K. Cunico; her brother, Richard Henry; and sisters, Ann Roper and Harriot Engel.
June is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ivan P. Gaines; son, Randy Cunico(Jill); step-children, Susie Dennison(Paul), Jon Gaines(Diane), and Kristal Silver(Dean). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 4 step- great-grandchildren
A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Sunday, June 9, 2019 at The Meadows, 8044 Coley Davis Road, Nashville, TN 37221
