Keith Leonard Clodfelter

Keith Leonard Clodfelter, 89, of Bellevue, TN passed away Sunday September 24th, 2023, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.  Born July 1st, 1934, in Putnam County, Indiana, he was the son of Hubert Keith and Elizabeth Eggers Clodfelter.

Keith has often been remembered as being the best, kindest man that would give you the shirt off his back.  He was a loyal and an active member of both Charlotte Road and Bellevue Baptist Churches. He loved working with and serving others: efforts ranging from helping his local neighborhood community, to collecting school supplies and building homes in Honduras. Besides his family and friends, other interests included playing Santa Claus with Christmas lights/displays, Tennessee Titans football, maintaining his flower garden/pond, fishing and boating at Rock Harbor Marina.  

Keith was drafted into the US Army in 1957.  Upon completion of his service, he worked as an employee of Allison’s and Ransburg Corporations, both based in Indianapolis, IN.  He moved to Bellevue, Tennessee in 1974 entrepreneuring businesses as owner and president of Electrostatic On-Site Services and C&C Industrial Sales, Inc. based out of Nashville, TN.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Martin Clodfelter, four daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Mark Hagedorn, Dyan and Mike Matthews, Kelly and Bill Cade, and Holly Smith. Keith had seven grandchildren Joshua Hagedorn, Kevin Schrader, Stephanie Tafflinger, Nicolle Meadows, Emily Schrader, Benjerman Smith, Page Rader and five great-grandchildren. Siblings include sisters Sandra Elliott, Judy Rainey and brother John Clodfelter. 

He was preceded in death by his son Ryan Lee Clodfelter, both parents, two sisters Charlotte Smith, Carolee Smithers and three brothers Jim, Joe and Bill Clodfelter.

Funeral services will be conducted at the West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Avenue in West Nashville. Visitation is open to friends and family 4-7pm on Thursday, Sept 28th. Final visitation and service will be Friday morning starting at 11-1pm. Burial to follow at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens located at 1150 Dickerson Road Cemetery. Goodlettsville. TN 37072.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Charlotte Road or Bellevue Baptist Church in Keith’s honor.
