Kenneth "Dale" Zumwalt, Sr. - Age 70, passed away June 13, 2021, in Nashville, TN.

He is preceded in death by his father, Levi Dale Zumwalt; his mother, Louise Morrow; and his wife, Nancy Zumwalt.

He is survived by stepmom, Patsy Zumwalt; children, Kenneth Zumwalt, Jr., Christina Stanfill, Catherine Roberts, Tressa Zumwalt and Ken Zumwalt; his grandchildren, Matthew Zumwalt, Jessica Dies, Jonathan Zumwalt, Kelly Fink, Chance Fink, Holly Marsh; and several great grandchildren; his siblings, Debi Moback, Mitzi Thurman, Kevin Zumwalt, Stacey Zumwalt, and Callie Zumwalt.

Dale proudly served his country in the USMC during the Vietnam War. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2#, Combat Action Ribbon, Purple Heart, Vietnam Campaign Medal (60-), Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Citation with palm, Rifle Sharpshooter Badge M-14, and Pistol Expert Badge.45 Cal. He was also an avid hunter.

A Celebration of Life will be held in conjunction with his mom, Louise on Wednesday, June 30th, from 2PM until 6PM, in the Celebration Hall of West Harpeth Funeral Home on Charlotte Pike.
