Survived by his family including Martha Schurman Vetter, brother Ray Vetter, sister Sherry Vetter Dorris, and children Dean Vetter, Tori Vetter Benjamin, and Matthew Vetter. Preceded in death by his parents Al and Clara Vetter.
A graduate of Hillwood High School, Mr. Vetter's career in the restaurant industry including Shoney's, Belle Meade Cafeteria, the Vetter Café, the Tennessee State Parks, and upon retirement, the cafeteria for Nashville Christian School.
Visitation will begin at 9:30am on Saturday, January 17th with a memorial service to follow at 11am at Western Hills Church of Christ, 7565 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, 37209.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Youth Encouragement Services through the Western Hills Church of Christ.
