Lillie Garland Hubbell

Lillie “Lil” Garland Hubbell, 99 of Nashville, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She retired from Marshall & Bruce Printing Company. She attended Charlotte Avenue Church of Christ, now River Road Church of Christ.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Hubbell; parents, Eugene G. and Jerdie Toler Garland; brothers, Morris, Edward, Leo, and Bill Garland; sisters-in-law, Jeannie Mae, Oma, Lucille, and Jo Garland; and stepson, Joe Allen Hubbell.

 She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Patricia “Pat” Burns Gray; grandsons, Kevin (Alison) Burns and Brian (Elizabeth) Gray; granddaughter, Karen (Jeff) Hepler; sister-in-law, Marie Garland; great-grandchildren, Avery, Ansley, Ashlyn, and Corbin, Peyton, Hailey, and Ryan.

 The family will receive friends from 11:00AM until 2:00PM on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. A Celebration of Lillie’s Life will begin at 2:00PM in the Chapel at West Harpeth. Following the service, Lillie will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Memorial Park with her grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers.

 In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to River Road Church of Christ, Charlotte Heights Church of Christ, or to the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort.
