Loretta O. Felts - Age 86 was born October 2 1932 in Nashville, TN and passed away March 15, 2019. Preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Grace Overby; husband, Gerald W. Felts and son Barry D. Felts. She is survived by son, Gerald W. Felts, Jr. (Stacy); daughter, Kimberly Felts Dixon (Jerry); grandchildren, Sara Grace Miller, Ian Dixon (Hollis), Samantha Farrell (DJ), Sidney Felts; great-grandchildren, Savannah Felts, Emery Felts and Carli Farrell.
Loretta lived life to the fullest. She loved being a military wife and travelled around the world but always loved coming home to Tennessee. She enjoyed a 30 year career at Vanderbilt Hospital where she made many lifelong friends.
Her smile and laughter were contagious and her children, grandchildren, and her beloved Westie's Katie and Maggie brought her great joy.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. & on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service in the Celebration Hall of West Harpeth Funeral Home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Nashville Humane Association.
