Marylin Sandra High League, age 83, passed away on January 10, 2026, in Franklin, Tennessee. Born on December 5, 1942, in Memphis, Tennessee, she filled her life with love, family, and a dedication to her career.

Sandra was deeply committed to her family’s automotive business, which served as a cornerstone of her professional endeavors. She also worked as a merchandise buyer for Sears Department Store before retiring after an impressive 35+  years at McPherson Motors. Her contributions to these establishments reflected her strong work ethic and keen insight into the automotive industry.

Education was also important to Sandra; she graduated from Central High School and earned a Degree in Finance from The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. This foundation assisted her in both her career accomplishments and personal financial management.

Sandra and Bill were instrumental in the founding of the Bellevue Volunteer Fire Department. She helped form the B.V.F.D. Women's Auxiliary.  She was very passionate about helping others. 

Sandra had a vibrant personality that brought joy to many. She cherished family gatherings, particularly around Christmas and birthdays, where the warmth of her spirit could be felt the most. She loved playing games and found great pleasure in traveling, often exploring new places with her loved ones. Additionally, she was an avid collector, with a fondness for antique furniture, depression glass, perfume bottles, tea cups, and spoons. Each piece in her collection held a story, much like the memories she created with her family.

She leaves behind her daughters, Gina Sadler (Steve), Tonee Spears (Steve), Donna Townsend (Allen). Sandra also cherished her relationships with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, her brothers, Larry High, Terry High and sister Sharon Haynes as well as her nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and  Many Friends all of whom adored her.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William (Bill) League, her son, William (Billie) League, and her daughter, Valerie League Dixon. She also mourned the loss of her grandson, Brandon Sadler, and grandson, Sean Dixon. Her parents, Samuel High and Pauline High, along with her brother, Michael High, also preceded her in death.

A visitation will be held on April 4, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at West Harpeth Funeral Home and Crematory, located at 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation.

Marylin Sandra High League will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her passion for her career, and the many lives she touched through her kindness and generosity. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
