Marshall Edward Rosenbaum, a dedicated truck driver whose lifelong career spanned four decades, passed away peacefully on April 15, 2026, in Kingston Springs, TN, surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 15, 1943, in Jamestown, TN, Marshall led a life characterized by hard work, kindness, and an unwavering devotion to his loved ones.
Marshall proudly served his country for three years in the Army, a chapter of his life that reflected his commitment and sense of duty. Following his military service, he devoted 40 years to the trucking industry, with 28 of those years driving for Watkins Motor Lines. Truck driving was more than just a profession to Marshall; it was his lifelong passion, a role through which he contributed steadfastly to his community and family.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Marshall was a man of gentle spirit and generous heart. Always kind to everyone he met, those around him never witnessed anger in his demeanor. His children fondly remember the fishing trips they shared together, often traveling with a camper hitched to the back of his truck; precious memories that highlight the joy he found in family time and nature. Marshall also had a love for animals, especially his beloved dog, Cinnamon, who was a constant companion. His interests extended to working on vehicles alongside his friend Cecil, reflecting his hands-on approach and camaraderie.
His proudest accomplishment was the devoted support and care he gave to his wife Shirley Rosenbaum, to whom he was married for an impressive 63 years. Together, their partnership was a foundation of love and stability that enriched the lives of their children and extended family.
Marshall’s legacy lives on through his surviving family: his cherished wife Shirley; sons Eddie Rosenbaum (Tammy); daughters Patricia Canady (Kelvin), Marsha Miesler, and Caroline Serratt (David). His family tree has blossomed through over 60 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest AJ Rosenbaum and Lois Rosenbaum, and his sister Margaret Crabtree.
Marshall Edward Rosenbaum will be remembered as a hardworking, kind, and family-oriented man who touched many lives quietly but profoundly. His legacy is one of love, dedication, and unwavering kindness, a true testament to a life well-lived.
