Melva Muldoon

Virginia died peacefully with family at her bedside on Sunday, November 13, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Laurence Robert Muldoon and son- in-law, Elmer Johnson. She is survived by her three daughters: Carolyn Johnson of Bozeman, MT, Sandra Hayes of Landrum, SC, and Julia Strickland of Nashville, TN, and her grandchildren: Ben Strickland of Boone, NC, Ari Gutman of Auburn, AL and Stacey Gutman Shaffer of Lexington, KY.Virginia was a member of Bellevue United Methodist Church and enjoyed activities at the Bellevue Family YMCA. She had resided at Brookdale Belle Meade since December 2015. There she made new friends and received exceptionally professional and kind care. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Graveside service to be held at Middle Tennessee State Veteran's Cemetery on Friday, November 18th at 10:00 am, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
