Nancy Charlene Stuart Jennette, 70, passed away on March 21, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved deeply. She was born on October 23, 1955, and raised in Pegram, Tennessee, a place that always felt like home to her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and compassion touched all who knew her.
Nancy spent much of her life caring for others, both personally and professionally. She worked for many years in childcare, where her gentle nature and steady kindness shaped the lives of countless children. She also dedicated a significant part of her career to the Ford Motor Glass Plant, where she built lasting friendships and was known for her dependability and hard work.
Above all else, Nancy's greatest joy was her family. She was a mother to her three daughters, Tonya, Crystal and Kelly, and a proud grandmother to four grandchildren, Stephen, Sydney, Dylan Rose, and Corbin, as well as a great-grandmother to one precious great-grandson, Wade. Her love for them was constant, unwavering, and at the center of everything she did.
Nancy will be remembered for so many things — her soft laugh, her generous heart, her quiet resilience, and the way she showed love not through grand gestures, but through everyday presence. She was the kind of woman who made you feel cared for simply by being near her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bruzzer Jennette, parents Charles and Polly Stuart, and in-laws Botley and Ann Jennette.
She leaves behind her daughters, Tonya Goforth, Crystal (Derek) Daniel, and Kelly (Gregory) McCord; four grandchildren, Stephen Goforth, Sydney Pierce, Dylan Daniel, and Corbin McCord; one great grandson, Wade Pierce. She is also survived by her siblings, Elaine, Sharon, Chuck & Mai, Becky, and Lucy Gilliam, Brother-in-law, Mike Jennette, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Pegram Community Club - Restoration Fund.
