Gail Moore

Nola “Gail” Moore, 64, of Nashville, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. Gail was born in Nashville on September 21, 1958, to the late William and Nola May Fergerson Schroeder. She enjoyed being in the outdoors, especially the Smokey Mountains. Gail always put others before herself and was always helping others. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and shopping on QVC. Gail was an employee of St. Thomas for over 35 years. She worked at DCI Donor Services most recently until leaving to care for her father until his passing.

Gail leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 42 years, Michael Moore; daughters, Jennifer and Christin; one granddaughter; and sisters, Diane (Mike) Smith, Connie (James) O’Dwyer, Karen (Jim) Gibson, and Regina (Don) Dorion; and a host of extended family members and friends.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at a later date.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the ICU Staff at St. Thomas West and the ICU Staff at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for the love and care they provided Gail.
