Phyllis Moran of Nashville passed away on August 7,2022 at the age of 92. She was born in Tinker, New Brunswick, Canada, to the late Romie and Edna Ayers. She enjoyed mocha frappuccino’s, crossword puzzles, 40’s music and visiting Williamsburg, VA. She was of the Episcopal faith. Phyllis graduated from Aroostook Superior School in Aroostook Junction, New Brunswick, Canada, and Victoria Public Hospital Nursing School in Fredericton, New Brunswick ,Canada. She worked as a registered nurse at Baptist Hospital for 40 years.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sanford Moran; parents, Romie and Edna Ayers; brother, Ralph Ayers; and sister, Dorothy Klamm. Phyllis is survived by her daughter and best friend, Kathy Moran; sister, Ruth Crandlemire; many loving nieces, nephews, and especially her grandkitten, Bobbie Louise.

Visitation for Phyllis will be Friday, August 12,2022 at West Harpeth Funeral Home from 6 PM to 8 PM. A graveside service will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 10 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Nashville Humane Association in Phyllis’s honor.
