Raymond “Bud” Holt, 92, of Pegram, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years, Joyce Drake Holt, daughter, Janet (David) Wilson, son, Andrew (Karen Milliken) Holt, two granddaughters, Heather (Dorian) McArdle, and Dana (David) Pitt, grandson, Adam Milliken, four great-grandchildren, Aubree Pitt, Ryan McArdle, Ava Pitt and Harper Pitt and numerous extended relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucy Hutchison Holt, brother, Walace Holt, infant twin brother, Ransom Holt, sisters, Ideline Buttrey, Madeline Rust, Johnie Holt Rust, and Margaret Jean Petway.
Bud loved God, his family and his country. He was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ and a current member of Bellevue Church of Christ. Bud loved the life God has blessed him with, the wonderful years living his life on the beautiful Tennessee River.
Bud was a graduate of Bellevue High School, a veteran of the US Army and I.B.E.W. He retired from the electronics department at Baptist Hospital now St. Thomas Midtown.
The family cordially invites relatives and friends to visit on Wednesday, August 6th, 2025, from nine o’clock in the morning until the time of the funeral service at twelve-thirty in the afternoon at West Harpeth Funeral Home and Crematory, 6962 Charlottle Pike in Nashville, The committal will immediately follow, via an escorted cortege, at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane in Nashville.
