Survived by his wife of 17 years, Mary Jo Garrett; by his loving family; mother, Martha Garrett; children, Katie Johnson (Terry DuRard), Savanna Simmons, and Jeremy Simmons; three grandchildren, Dalana Johnson, Toni Johnson, and Eli Simmons; sister, Paula Hays; brothers, Eddy Garrett, Andy (Terri) Garrett; nephew, Levi Garrett. Services will be determined at a later time.
