Ronald Reed

Ronald Henry Reed, born May 11, 1948, peacefully passed away at home March 9, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Goldie & Willie P. Reed, and his brothers, Bobby Joe Reed & Billy Wayne Reed.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Susan Epps Reed, and daughters, Laura-Marie Reed McClain and Suzanne Reed Guttu and grandchildren, Reed & Riley McClain.
Ron graduated from Treadwell H.S. & Memphis State University with a B.B.A. degree. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp as a Sergeant and retired from the U.S. Small Business Admin in 2003 as Finance Manager of Lending & Liquidation. Ron is a member of the West End United Methodist Church. The family would like to give special appreciation to the loving staff at Adoration Hospice.
Ron was a beloved husband and father, and to many remembered as the life of the party.
Visitation will be held on Monday March 12th from 11am-1pm with a service to follow at West Harpeth Funeral Home & Crematory on Charlotte Ave.
