Ronald Matthew Roberson Jr. October 15, 1957 – July 11, 2026

Ronald spent over 25 years working at Sam’s Club, a testament to his quiet dedication and work ethic. He was a private man who let his actions speak, whether it was the care he took of his yard, offering to mow his neighbors’ lawns, or the time spent at the grill, a skill he passed down to each of his three sons.

Ronald was a devoted sports fan, cheering on the Dallas Cowboys, Duke basketball, and NASCAR, and rarely missed a golf tournament on TV. On his father’s side, Ronald’s family traced its roots back to early Tennessee farmers who settled in Hickman County in the mid-1800s.

Above all, Ronald cherished his close relationship with his mother, Helen, whom he loved deeply and cared for devotedly throughout his life.

Ronald is survived by his mother, Helen Medley; his three sons, Christopher Roberson, Jonathan Roberson (and partner Janet Timmons ), and Ryan Roberson (and wife Jennifer Roberson); and his two granddaughters, Raelyn Roberson and Vivian.

A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
