Ronald W. Spence, born on February 10, 1949 passed away unexpectedly on November 21, 2020. He was 71 years old.

Ron is preceded in death by his daughter Laronda Spence Knight and his parents James Nolan and Virginia Spence. He is survived by his daughter Stacy Smith and her mother Kathy Spence; grandchildren Zachary Knight, Lauren Cripps, Tanner Smith; great grandchildren Alyson Myers, Nichole Lewis, siblings James E. Spence (Marla), Steve Spence (Deborah), Teresa McCraw (Bill), dozens of nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends.

Ron was hardworking and dedicated to his family. He retired from Ford Glass company and spent most of his retirement years enjoying family life. His family remembers him as a giving and selfless person, always devoted to taking care of the needs of his family. Ron will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Visitation for Ronald Spence will be held at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville 37209 on Wednesday November 25 from 9:00am - 10:00am. Chapel services to begin at 10:00am. Interment at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens the same day at 1:00pm.
