Ruth T Vester

Ruth T. Vester, 92, of Nashville passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023. She was born in Nashville on November 22, 1930, to the late J. W. and Esther Burrum Tripp. Ruth enjoyed watching birds and taking care of her flowers. She also enjoyed fishing at Crooked Creek.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Richard A. Vester; and siblings, Gordon, Joe, Allen, Paul, Catherine, Pearl, Grace, and Mary.

She leaves a host of many nieces and nephews behind to cherish her memory.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. A committal service will take place on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 12:30PM in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the team at Trevecca Nursing Home for the love and care that they provided to Ruth.
