Sandra Lee Brendemuehl was born April 21st, 1946 in Wausau, Wisconsin. Travel and family led her to Nashville, Tennessee, where she passed away on July 21st, 2026.
She is preceded in death by her adoring husband, Donald Brendemuehl and brother, Wayne Laffin.
Sandra's memory is continued by those she left behind. Her children Connie (Chris) Clarke, Angie (Dean) Hulan, and Jody (Deedee) Ohde, continue her legacy. She was a proud grandmother of eight and a great-grandmother of ten. Her siblings Susie Loomis and Roxanne (Norbert) Ohde share in the pain of her passing.
Sandra’s life was shaped by family bonds. It started with inspiration from her father, who passed down his love of camping, and often invited Sandra and her family to stay in Wisconsin. Sandra had her own camper to enjoy a weekend stay with family on the land her father owned.
Always enthusiastic, Sandra spent her evenings at home working on crafts. Some got her back outside - her painted birdhouses acted as a way to decorate her garden and keep nature close. Some kept her cozy in her chair, with her beloved cat Muffin, who stayed with her for twenty-one years. Muffin loved her craft room, where Sandra spent her time sewing, and let Muffin play with the remaining strings.
Sandra enjoyed settling down with a horror movie - which, unlike most, she could watch without nightmares. Although she often struggled with her DVD player, the frustration didn't stop her from discovering the world wide web, and all the online stores that came with it. Whether it was buying Packer's merch for outings with Don, buying cleaning supplies, or finding her next, famously pink, outfit, she mastered online shopping.
Sandra Lee Brendemuehl’s presence cannot be captured wholly by the words on this page, but the stories she leaves behind—the encouragement, the laughter, the way her hands comforted and her words soothed—will stay with her family, friends, and the strangers she impacted throughout her life.
She is remembered and missed, now and always.
Pallbearers are Jody Ohde, Dean Hulan, Chris Clarke, Jasper Ohde, Colt Ohde, and Mohammad Alfaleh. As well as honorary pallbearers Matt Hulan and Cole Hulan.
