Jean Hughes

Mrs. Jean Hughes of Nashville, TN passed away November 03, 2023, at the age of 79 years.

She was born in Goodlettsville, TN on August 01, 1944, to Alvie and Ruby Ethel Adams.  Mrs. Hughes enjoyed reading the Bible, watching game shows, solving Word Search Puzzles, and was an avid Prayer Warrior.  Most of all, she enjoyed doing things for other people.  She is forever loved and will be greatly missed by so many.

Mrs. Hughes is preceded in death by her husband, Roy James Hughes, one son, Joseph Franklin (Joey) Howard, and her fur baby, “Sugar.”  She is survived by children, Sharon Ellis (Jay), William Miller, Karen Martin, Michael Howard, and Julie Sanderson; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren along with many extended family members and friends, especially her best friend, Nola.

A visitation for Mrs. Hughes will be on Monday, November 13, 2023, at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN between the hours of 10am and 1pm.  Funeral services will be at 1pm in the West Harpeth Chapel with interment to follow at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, 9090 Hwy. 100, Nashville, TN.
