Terry Turner Kimbro, 91, of Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025. She was born to the late Rogers and Terry Turner in Alexandria, Virginia on June 29, 1934.

After graduating from high school, she got her Associate’s degree in banking. She was the President of Beta Alpha chapter of Beta Sigma Phi; President Beta Sigman Phi Council and Chairman of the National Convention Committee and chosen Lady of the Bracelet.

Terry took time to raise her two children at the beginning of her long career. She was a wife and mother at the start which would include Girl Scout Leader, Sunday School teacher, president of Crieve Hall PTA, Chairman of various committees with the PTA, Chairman of Bazaar and Member of PEO in Chapter P for over 30 years.

When she entered into the formal workforce, she was an Executive Secretary to the General Manager for WSM. In 1974 she was the Manager of Crocket Springs and Woodlake Condos. In 1977 she was the Senior Secretary Real Estate Department, Budget Coordinator for Real Estate Group. In 1980 she was the Administrative Assistant to EVP for six years before going onto being the Administrative Assistant to Bank President and CEO. After that she became the Senior Administrative Assistant to Corporate President and COO.

Along with her husband, Terry retired to their farm where together they raised commercial cattle. She had a passion for sewing and quilting along with traveling the world with Bob for 68 years until he passed in 2024. She was a long-time member of New Bethel United Methodist Church.

Terry is survived by her two daughters; Pauline (daughter) and Carl DiProjetto; Kathleen B Kimbro (daughter); grandchildren, Tessa Rubin, Wendy and Jim Thomas, and Carl DiProjetto, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Ryder Huff, Jack Huff, Max and Jake Eismann, and Madison Thomas.

Everyone is welcome to attend the graveside service for Terry on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025, at one o’clock in the afternoon at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 7931 McCrory Lane in Nashville.
