Thomas D'Apolito, 78, of Antioch, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

He was preceded in death by parents Luciano and Gaetana Speranza D'Apolito and daughter-in-law Susan Rasbury-D'Apolito.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gail Locke D'Apolito; children Craig D'Apolito and Kimberly (Jonathan) Willoughby; grandchildren Saviik Rasbury and Ti Willoughby; sister Barbara (Seim) Furth; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

An Eagle Scout in his youth, Thomas carried the values of leadership, integrity, and service throughout his life. He proudly served his country as a Vietnam Veteran and was awarded the Purple Heart, a testament to his courage and sacrifice. Thomas will be remembered for his patriotism, strength of character, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Disabled American Veterans or McGavock High School's Band Boosters.

The family cordially invites relatives and friends to visit on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, from six o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening in the West Hall at West Harpeth Funeral Home and Crematory, 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. The Memorial Service and Benediction will be held the following day, Thursday, July 2nd, 2026, at two o'clock in the afternoon with visiting four hours prior to the service also at the funeral home.

A private committal service will be held at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery,
