Thomas L. Dodson, Sr. passed peacefully to his eternal home, Thursday January 23, 2020. He is survived by wife of sixty-four years, Mary Dodson; five children, Gail Escue, Thomas (Connie) Dodson, Jr., Steve (Pam) Dodson, Angie (John) Vaughn, and Ricky Dodson.
Mr. Dodson is survived by ten grandchildren; Emily (Jeremy) Williams, Steven (Dianna) Dodson, Michael (Holly) Phelps, Brandon (Amy) Miner, Michael Miner, Cody Johnson, Jeremy (Emily) Dodson, Alex Dodson, Jordan Dodson, Christopher and Cassidy; nine great-grandchildren Kaite, Kalvin, Audrey, Gavin, Mia, Camden, Mailey, Carly, Taylor, Mackenzy, Morgan, Preston, Michael, Bailey, and Liam; and one great-great grandchild, Thomas. Surviving siblings include Liz (Bill) Sharpe, Clifford (Judy) Dodson, Donnie Dodson, and Mary Jane Dodson Cleghorn.

Tommy retired from Nashville Electric Service after thirty years of service. He was a long time member of Park Avenue Baptist Church, Fellowship of Christian Magicians and routinely served others through St. Luke's Community Center. Tommy never met a stranger and shared the love of Jesus with everyone.

We are forever changed and blessed by his love and service to his family and to the Lord.
A Celebration of Life will be on Monday, January 27, 2020, at 1:00pm, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Pastor Patrick Hamilton officiating. Interment to follow at Harpeth Hills.
Visitation will be on Sunday from 1PM until 6PM, and on Monday from 12PM until the service time at 1PM, both at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
