Thomas Shannon Fuqua - Age 87, passed away April 21, 2020 in Cincinnati, OH.
Mr. Fuqua is preceded in death by his loving wife, Ann K. Fuqua; daughter, Laura Fuqua; brother, Wilbert Jennings Fuqua; sister, Annette Fuqua Sykes.
Survived by his daughter, Julie Fuqua (Heather); brother, Sherwin Fuqua; Aunt, Ernestine Still Reed, and other nieces and nephews.
Mr. Fuqua was a 1950 graduate of Dickson High School in Dickson, TN. Upon graduation he joined the U.S. Army and served in Germany for 2 years. Mr. Fuqua was an administrator for the American Red Cross where he worked for 32 years. He also was a longtime member of St. John's United Methodist Church in Nashville, TN.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens with Rev. Sandra Griggs of St. John's United Methodist Church officiating.
Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we will only allow a very limited amount of people in the funeral home for visitation and graveside service.
