Toby Kenneth Culp

January 9, 1955 — April 16, 2024

Toby Kenneth Culp, 69, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 16, 2024. He was born on January 9, 1955, in Salisbury, North Carolina, to the late T. K. and Bobbie Carter Culp. Toby had previously worked for DET Distributing, AJAX Turner, and most recently Metro Nashville Public Schools. He enjoyed history, especially WWII and the Vietnam War. He enjoyed watching sports and cheering on his Denver Broncos. He was the life of the party: goofy, funny, and always making others laugh. Toby enjoyed spending time with his family whether they were grilling out, enjoying the view of the mountains or the beach, and above all, hanging around the house. He loved being surrounded by his family.

In addition to his parents, Toby was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Culp.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 41 years, Terry Culp; children, Zachary (Savannah) Culp and Allison Culp; brother, Joe (Pam) Culp; dog, Jackie; and a host of extended family members and beloved friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until 2:00PM on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Priest Lake Presbyterian Church located at 2787 Smith Springs Road in Nashville. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00PM. Flowers and memorials may be sent to the church for services.
