Vickie Delores Brooks

Vickie Delores Brooks, 60, of Nashville, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rita Greene and William E. Brooks. She is survived by her sister, Tanya Wilson, brother, Mark E. Brooks, niece, Tori (Aaron) Merritt, close friend, Mark Patrick, Elaine Burnette and family.

Known for her kind heart and giving spirit, Vickie spent much of her life caring for others as a devoted caregiver, touching countless lives with her quiet grace and steady presence.

Vickie had a deep love for reading and could often be found lost in a good book, with music playing softly in the background. She also had a lifelong passion for NASCAR and was a loyal fan of Jeff Gordon, never missing a race and cheering him on with enthusiasm. She found joy in the simple things—her favorite songs, heartfelt conversations, and the comfort of home. When her health allowed, she embraced the chance to travel, always eager to experience new places and create lasting memories.

Above all, Vickie was strong—resilient in the face of life’s challenges and always ready to offer kindness to those around her. Her warmth and gentle strength will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to have been touched by her love.

The family cordially invites relatives and friends to visit on Thursday, August 14th from four o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening at West Harpeth Funeral Home and Crematory, 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. The funeral will be held the following day at one o'clock in the afternoon with visiting two hours prior to the service. The committal service will immediately follow, via an escorted cortege, at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
