Walter Croy, Sr.

Walter David Croy, Sr. - Age 78, passed away January 19, 2016. He was a retired MGySgt. with the United States Marine Corps. He coached Dixie Youth Baseball at Vulcan Park and was a mentor to many kids. Preceded in death by his parents, Basil and Kathryn Croy; siblings, Beverly (Keith) Auler, Jim (Katie) Croy, Jerry Croy, Ronald (Mary) Croy, and Gloria (Jim) Simison. He is survived by wife of 50 years, Sheryl Croy; sons, Walter D. (Jeannie) Croy, Jr., and Chad M. Croy; grandchildren, Alyssa, Austin, Ashton, and Molly Croy; siblings, Richard (Pat) Croy, Patty (Donnie) Fisher, Michael (Belinda) Croy, Larry (Kathy) Croy, and Judy (Kenneth) Presley. Due to inclement weather, the family will have a time of visitation Tuesday 1/26/16, from 9am until 10:30am. There will be a service held Tuesday, 11am, at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
