William "Bill" Edward Clark, born June 14th, 1934, in South Lebanon, Ohio, passed away on October 28th, 2026, in Kingston Springs, TN.
In his passing, he is reunited with his parents, Varel and Helen Clark; brother Floyd Clark and sister Charlene Pandorf; his loving wife of 63 years, Sylvia Clark; son in law, Gary Dorman Jr.; and grandsons, Gary "Buddy" Dorman and Ryan Dorman.
Bill was born and raised in South Lebanon, Ohio, but moved to Tennessee with his family after receiving a promotion at his manufacturing job. He stayed within the industry for several years but took a keen interest in owning his own business. In the early 80's, Bill started his own business, known as MSI. He worked here until he retired. However, Bill was not one to stay still. He took a second job running bushhogging services - which may have just been an excuse to ride around on a tractor all day.
Bill attended Bellevue Christian Church, where he loved and appreciated his church family. He has been a mason for over 50 years, and a current member of the Bellevue Masonic Lodge 716. He also served as a Worthy Patron for 16 years with the Order of the Eastern Star White Bluff Chapter 676.
Those who knew Bill, knew that there was nothing more that he loved, then having fun. He enjoyed life for what it was and spent plenty of time with his friends, family, and community. He enjoyed singing and dancing to country music. Bill and Sylvia loved to travel - they saw multiple countries, including Finland, Switzerland, France, and Japan. He was known as a man always on the go.
An avid outdoorsman, Bill enjoyed hunting - whether it was fishing at the lake, or taking his annual trips to Mobridge, South Dakota. If you were to ask Bill, he would say that he loved hunting pheasants the most. Bill also raised champion beagles and bird dogs. He shared this love of hunting with his nephew, Duane Pandorf, who often accompanied him on hunting trips.
Bill leaves behind his loving family. He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Dorman (Robert Allen), of Waverly TN; Son William John (Sue) Clark of Kingston Springs, TN; grandsons Patrick (Heather Bell) Clark and Jordan (Claudia) Clark; great granddaughter Gigi Clark; his loving friend and travel partner, Elaine Spears; as well as an extensive list of friends who cannot all be named. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Megan Snider at Harpeth Health.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked you to make donations to their sweet family friend, Rowan Bailey. Checks can be made to "Rally with Rowan" and mailed to Anna Redfern at 2025 St. Michaels Lane, Cedar Hill, TN, 37032, or donations can be made by visiting your local U.S Bank Branch and asking to donate to "Rally with Rowan". You can follow Rowan on Facebook at Rally with Rowan.
Serving as pallbearers are Ed Mason, Dennis Galore, Hutch Hockenberger, Travis Tanksley, Bo Holloman, Jerry Woodard, Lee Bergeron, and Glenn Choate.
Visitation will be held Sunday, November 1st, from 2:00pm-6:00pm at West Harpeth Funeral Home at 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209.
