William L. "Billy" Mitchell - Age 68, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017, at St. Thomas Midtown. He was employed with Vulcan Materials for 40 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Jean Mitchell, who passed in 2013. Survived by his children, Kenneth (Khristyne) Mitchell, Josh Mitchell, and Nova Mitchell; grandchildren, Madison Mitchell, Jaxson Mitchell, and Amber Morgan; sisters, Deanna Swadley and Karen Porter; special friend, Mike Thompson.

A Celebration of Life will be on Friday, December 1, 2017, at 9:30am, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Owen Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, and on Friday after 9:00am at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
