Joyce Dean Spears Mayhugh Richards- Age 87 years old, passed from this life on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Bailey Manor in Fayetteville, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel David & Donnie Mae Sloan Spears; brothers, John “Jack”, Levie, and Hubert, Herschel & Leonard “Buddy”; sisters, Erma Martin and Evelyn Smith; husband, Vince Richards; and father of her children, James “Jimmy” Mayhugh; infant son, Michael Edwin Mayhugh.

She is survived by children, Terry (Joyce) Mayhugh, Brenda (Barry) Jones, Tammy (Darrell) Haney, and Scott Mayhugh (Keven Leblanc); 9 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter; and her special loved ones, Anita Marshall, Katherine Tompkins, Kenneth Mayhugh, Nell Mayhugh, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of her life will be on Monday, August 23, 2021, at 11AM, at West Harpeth Funeral Home on Charlotte Pike with Brother Jack Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Barry Jones, Keven Leblanc, Mike Parsley, Matt Haney, Jeff Posey, and Bobby Tompkins, Jr.; Honorary pallbearers will be Larry and Randy Smith.

Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 2PM until 6PM, and again on Monday from 10AM until the service time at 11AM, at WEST HARPETH FUNERAL HOME on Charlotte Pike.
