Kenneth Ervin

April 11, 1962 — December 19, 2021

Kenneth Virgil “Kenny” Erivn – age 59, passed away December 19, 2021, in Nashville, TN.

Born on April 11th 1962 in Nashville, Tn and resided in Cheatham County his entire life Preceded in death by his son Kenneth Lee Ervin and parents Margie Ervin and Benton Ervin.

Survived by his sister, Deahana Allen; children Brandy (Stuart) Ervin, Lauren (Robert) Ervin, Lucky (Brooke) Ervin, Levi Ervin and Liana (Jacob) Ervin; 4 grandchildren, Sturlyn Duncan, Stevie Bella Duncan, Tristan Deardorff, Tatum Deardorff and one new granddaughter due in late April 2022; nephews, Lee (Laura) Allen and Brent (Brooke) Allen; great niece, Ruby Allen, and a slew of friends and extended family.

Kenny was much loved by many people and he loved them all in return . He was a master story teller and had no problem finding friends and family anxious and willing to hear all the tales he told of his adventures as an entrepreneur of many things . He could make what was never your average story into a grand unforgettable tail that you felt like you were experiencing yourself as he’d lead you through the twist and turns of his true life happenings on so many different adventures

Kenny loved his family . He took so much pride in his children’s  accomplishments and they brought him more joy than they could possibly imagine. He was always there for them and anyone  else for that matter who found themselves in need of anything from a good dose of laughter to food in their stomach to a bill paid on their behalf  and forgotten about . He was a quiet giver and I would imagine there aren’t a lot of people, even those who knew him well, that truly know the extent he went to  help those in need .

He was also a shrewd business man who could make money at anything he set his mind to as he had an extraordinary mind and there wasn’t much he didn’t know something about . Kind of a jack of all trades yet a master of many .

Also nobody could throw a party like Kenny . His party’s could actually vie for top spot put up against his story telling abilities.  Many New Years were brought in in style with fireworks that found the roadsides around his home filled with parked cars that would actually skip the small town displays to come each year to see his master pieces .

Of everything and everyone that mattered  to him and there was a lot , his family and close friends like his children or his best friend Lesa McNeil were where he loved to spend most of his time . Especially in his later years .

He was taken from us all to soon and I know that seems so cliché but it couldn’t be more true in his case . He had a passion for life and fire for adventure even if it came from a simple night around the tv sharing a movie and a laugh or a tear with those he loved and loved to spend time with and he was loved so  in return  and will be missed more than he could ever have imagined…..
