Linda Shores

Linda Fay Shores – Age 77, passed away on August 23, 2021, in Nashville, TN.

Mrs. Shores is preceded in death by her mother, father, and three brothers.

Survived by her life partner, David George; son, Joe Southerland (Angel); daughter, Geniva Douglas; grandchildren, Ryan Southerland, Janie Hudson (David Popiden), Amanda Lamb (Jeff); four siblings, Lawrence, J.R., Tom, Mary 8 great- grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Mrs. Shores enjoyed life, gardening, music, hummingbird watching and her hosta plants.

Her greatest love was caring for others and for all children.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at West Harpeth Funeral Home with Hubert Cunningham officiating.

Visitation with the family will be held on Sunday prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at West Harpeth Funeral Home.
