Martha Wilkerson

Martha Dell Wilkerson, age 85, of Nashville, TN passed away September 2, 2022.

Mrs. Wilkerson was a faithful Christian and member of the Westwood Baptist Church.  She was a Critical Care Nurse and Caregiver at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN retiring after 32 years. Mrs. Wilkerson loved to travel in her younger years, but her greatest love was for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  She dedicated her life to them.

Mrs. Wilkerson is preceded in death by Fred Quintanilla, her first husband, parents, Manual and Lola Bishop, brothers, Rodger Bishop, Manual Bishop, Jr. and his wife, Penny.

She is survived by her husband, Herbert Wilkerson; children, Brenda Johnson (Tommy), Fred Quintanilla (Rene’), Jimmy Quintanilla (Kathy), Jeff Quintanilla (Karen); step-sons, Don Wilkerson (Becky), Charlie Wilkerson (April), Jimmy Wilkerson (Tonya); sister, Noami (Nan) Winecoff; grandchildren, Jessica James (Randy), Tracey Anderson (Scott), Aaron Quintanilla (Jamie), Steven Quintanilla (Kyla), Jocelyn Quintanilla, Sylvia Verhoven (Todd), Katherine McWilliams-Kline (Ben), Allison Plattsmier (Kris); great grandchildren, Dani James, Trey James, Parker Anderson, Ava Anderson, Caitlin Quintanilla, Ryder Allen, Tripp Allen, Piper Allen, Jett Quintanilla, Novia Verhoven, Chloe Verhoven, Donny Verhoven, Audrey Verhoven, Addy McWilliams, Dominic Kline, Quintan Plattsmier, Karina Plattsmier, brother-in-law Rudy Quintanilla (Ina); many wonderful nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at West Harpeth Funeral Home,6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN on Tuesday, September 6th from 4-7pm and Wednesday, September 7th, 12-2pm with the service to follow at 2pm. Interment will be at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens.
