Mary Nell Gourley

Mary Nell Mash Gourley Age 88, born in Bon Aqua, TN 1933, resident of Nashville, TN many years, Mrs. Gourley died November 6, 2021. Preceded in death by husband of 51 years, Carl Richard Gourley, parents Reece and Hattie Penn Mash, brothers James Clifford Mash and Johnnie Penn Mash, son, John William Gourley; survived by son, Mark Twain Gourley of Nashville, TN. and devoted companion Clarence (Bill) Hewitt) of Nashville. She graduated from Hickman County High School in 1951 and Andrew Jackson University. Retired as Tennessee District Secretary for Orkin Exterminating Co. with 15 years of service. As per Mrs. Gourley's wishes, no services were held, her remains have been cremated and interned at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. She was very grateful for the many kind neighbors who helped her and Bill so generously in her Iater days.
