Richard Vaughn

Mr. Richard Clifton Vaughn, of Nashville, TN passed away March 7, 2022, at the age of 80.  Mr. Vaughn was a graduate of the University of Memphis and proudly served his country in the United States Navy.  Early in his life, he was employed by Illinois Central Railroad and then spent 37 years with the Tennessee Department of Employment Security.

Mr. Vaughn is preceded in death by his parents, Ottis Clifton Vaughn and Nancy Grace Taul Vaughn and, his niece, Phyllis Vaughn.  He is survived by brothers, Warren G. Vaughn (Rita), Freddie Vaughn (Deborah), his loving nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

Visitation for Mr. Vaughn will be on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at West Harpeth Funeral Home, 6962 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN between the hours of 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Memphis Foundation or the Autism Speaks in honor of Mr. Richard Clifton Vaughn.

Inurnment will be scheduled at a later date.
