Samantha Wright

Samantha Danielle Wright, 32, of Ashland City, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022. She was born in Nashville on January 18, 1989, to Ronald and Sheila Spicer Wright. She graduated Cheatham County Central High School where she played basketball. She enjoyed playing fastpitch softball. Above all, she enjoyed raising her kids and spending time with her family. She was a loving daughter, granddaughter, mother, sister, and aunt.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alex Wright, Jr., Joe and Jean King, and Donald Ray Stewart.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving, life partner, Josh Stewart; parents, Ronald and Sheila Wright; children, Alex, Andrew, and Emory Stewart; sister, Brandi Slade; grandmother, Helen Wright; second mother, Faye Stewart; nieces, Marley, Elayna, and Lakyn Davis; and a host of aunts, uncles, and extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 20, 2022 from 3:00PM – 8:00PM at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. Additional visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 10:00AM until the 12:00PM service time. Following the service at 12:00PM on Friday, Samantha will be laid to rest at EverRest of Cheatham.
